In theirs Declaration of Independence, Thomas Jefferson said that we (or they) have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. How he knew to put the 'pursuit' in there, like no one can actually have happiness. We can only pursue it.
The movie is about a struggling salesman and his five years old kid. You have to see the movie to understand what struggling means.
Everybody in the street seamed happy. He wanted that. He saw a Ferrari, and he wanted one. The owner was a broker. This was the begining of his pursuit.
The movie title is spelled wrong and you can see why in the first minutes of the film. After all there shouldn't be a Y in that word. There should only be an I. I should be in happiness, it doesn't matter why. But this part of my life... this part right now... This is called pursuitless.
